I am not a math wiz, but I will try to see if you are right. Thinking this would create one hell of a math problem with the distance involved from the amphitheater to the location. I did use measurements of what I understood to be clues. All of the other finders got to dig multiple holes. At this point I don't have that capability without stirring up trouble. It is very hard to know it is sitting there waiting. As for now I'm just another guy who claims he knows where it is. If I keep bothering the city park authority they will probably ban me from the park. It is a shame that it is this hard to dig a hole that can be filled back in.

good day.
its nice to see people still looking for the secrets!
1. theres a young lady on you tube who has a pretty good solve for the houston secret. she isn't lining up the perspective of the tubes however she has the idea. good stuff. check it out.
2. i have imo, the correct solve for montreal. 99.99999 % sure. . 100%!
3. this is an incredibly simple solve once you are on it. it took under 5 minutes to solve. true story!
i will retrieve the box this summer. can't wait.
any thoughts, feel free to share.

I took a look at the video on you tube. I spent some time at that park but could not come to any conclusion. You can't go any further than she did. It sparks interest because of the columns. This was a trick by Mr. Preiss. Their are pieces of each popular park in Houston in the artwork. Unfortunately she is wrong. I like the effort she has, and the adventure is unforgettable. Each piece of artwork has a landmark map to each casque location. Once you spot the landmarks and look at the details the ah hah factor will set in. It took me a long time to figure out his pattern. It is also easy to make a mistake. I thought it was at Baldwin park for the longest time. The historical marker says it is the setting for a jewel. There is a very old oak tree with four large limbs that come down and touch the ground. The tree looks like it is falling gently. I did have a lot of fun there! My new location is a done deal. If I was to post a video like that of my location, everyone with interest would run there immediately. I have thought about doing it illegally, but my conscience won't let me. Still waiting and wondering how to get it. I have thought about joining a large search group in hopes of gaining some backing. I can take anyone to the location with the art in hand and I am certain they would agree.Comment

thanks dez.
my solve includes a no longer existing site/clue and i just found out a newly landscaped box location.
imo, for what its worth, is that the verses contain clever/historical, yet simple clues.
first the state/province, then the city, then the theme (of both the historic elements and the location), then the route the clues take you, then final directions to the box.
knowing the theme of the history of the location enabled me to skip the the first half of the verse for my montreal solve.
for the houston solve i think the key is "perspective".
the 7 i believe various sized tubes in the art installation around the whole park.
you need to replicate (stand in) the exact perspective point that lines up all the tubes like in the painting.
if correct, there is only one spot in the park that would have the perspective displayed in the painting.
a google earth above view angled then rotated gives the effect. on site would be way easier.
please note i am only going off their solve, but i think they are close.
google "Our strongest tower of delight Falls gently In December night" , this is a leaf.
i would suggest that big tree in line with the spout, and the bench is close to the actual perspective point. give it a try.
keep you exact location a secret so YOU can find it.
you are right to be honest and ask before digging however the riches guy i ever met once said to me " it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission" .
thanks for your thoughts.

i have revised the expedition unknown milwaukee solve and used another's youtube solve, and i think that one is under the lions paw, imo, however they had the wrong lion and the wrong " pass three".
basically the lion on the "west" side of the bridge closest to the "U" shaped viewing platform just after three trees in the center of the path.
this would be the fifth lion you encounter.
2 at the beginning of the first bridge, 2 at the end of the bridge and keeping west, the lion on the left ( just past the"U") of the second bridge on path. the proud tall fifth.
?????? maybe not????Comment

Breaking news on this one! I have been in deep thought about this one for a long time. From the art work to the site to the verse, over and over again. I have been so busy that I took a little break from it and now I am back on the hunt. When I broke ground while breaking the law I kinda felt like something wasn't right. Something was off. So before I was caught or raised any eyebrows I filled the hole back in and put the patch of grass back on top to make it look undisturbed. I was right! I was off by approximately eight feet. Now I feel like I have the precise location and hopefully the root system isn't as bad. Working on a new plan for extraction.Comment

The artwork looks like the location of the casque. There are some things that I don't understand. Some of the clues in the verse have nothing to do with the location. In the middle of four alike is one that comes to mind. One of the most important clues at the dig sight is in the middle of four alike, you have to figure out where to go from there. It is so amazing how this all came together and you have to find the location before the artwork makes sense. I think he took pictures and created the art into the picture. At this point you must also go back in time because many clues looked different at the time.
Usually people become famous or get recognized once they have passed away. I think it was the opposite for Mr. Preiss because he is not here to explain the details. Whomever has the publishing rights is sitting on a gold mine. I would offer an extra incentive to get some attention from searchers.👍 1Comment

I discovered that I was off a little after a new observation in the artwork. The column in the middle that looks to have a disturbed grave or raised stones at the bottom. On this column in the middle seems to be the figure and face of a person. This face is looking west in the same direction as the Jinn. There seems to be red dot dot dots coming from the eyes of this face to lead you to look in that direction. This column was my middle. I was digging at the base because I had a hit on the GPR. Now I think it is about ten feet from where I was. A new clue I speculate is the top right corner of the art in the woods is looking south, and the rest of the art is looking north.Comment

Ahhhh.... Spring time is treasure hunting time for me! I am still confident in my location. It is still technically winter, but too chilly for most of the snakes and critters. A puzzle that seems unsolvable provides the greatest anticipation. I have some new ideas on how to accomplish this dig. I didn't want to keep posting without some new information, but I wanted to give an update. It is still in the ground and it seems nobody is going to find it. For that reason I feel I have all the time in the world to do this the right way. I must present the authority with a presentation to get them excited and I feel I have put together some convincing theories. I would like to give some hints in hopes of some thought from some of my fellow treasure hunters. I have not read my recent post in a while so forgive me if I repeat. In the middle of four alike is a tree. A total of five trees planted like the five on a dice. Three of the trees are the same and two are different. I figure alike means not exactly the same, so it is possible for two trees to be different. Using the middle tree as a starting point and walking towards the two trees that are different. Stepping away and looking at them with the same perception as the art, looking north you can see the similarity. This means walking west from the middle tree towards the two trees that are different. I think it is in the middle or between these two trees. About eight to ten feet west of the middle tree. Any thoughts?Comment

Can I ask for forgiveness? I have gotten a reading on something at my location with the GPR. I feel I can walk someone to the spot and say dig here. It would take me ten minutes to dig unless there are roots to deal with. My GPR tech Tyler told me he will give all of my money back if it is there. He has signed multiple Non disclosure agreements and is the only other person who knows. My process is tugging at my patience and I want to go Indiana Jones mode so bad. We will get there eventually.Comment
