I think there is a hallway behind him and that painting on the left is leaning on a ledge that runs down the hallway. I think it's the trapezoidal shape making it look fake. The one on the right is on a windowsill with light coming in making the left side of that frame appear translucent. I know there are people out there that could photoshop anything or use software to make videos of anyone saying anything, but I don't see the point for this photo.

The Sharp painting is ABSOLUTELY photoshopped. Its frame is perfectly rectilinear and its edges are parallel to the edges of the (original) picture upon which it was superimposed. Both paintings are hints; I know why the Sharp is there; and if the right one is a Hurley (haven't been able to find it, but it's certainly his style), then I know why it's there too. The question is: where did this picture come from? I have not seen it prior to today.

I know I've seen it before- I thought it was Inflight Mag but must be another one. I would like to find a copy better than this: ( BiggishShoes ) On second thought I don't think there's a hallway- but that shelf has a wide base at the floor. Zap- why do you think the Sharp one is there?

Rose: see Scrapbook 185 (going from memory -- on my phone away from computer). Huge hint for me. Just like the Wilson Hurley painting in Scrapbook 7 with Michael Douglas, Forrest and Peggy where it's humorously called an O'Keeffe. Forrest was not a fan of Georgia's work, so not like he'd accidently mix that up. ;-)

Your welcome Margey! Not sure how old the image actually is but that screen grab is circa 2007 and predates the start of the chase.

The Oct 10th, 2011 screenshot (farthest back) it says 36 years ago he moved to Santa Fe - and also has the current re-named or moved images of today. Your screenshot says it's 4 years older than that. So you have a screenshot of a web page from 2007 and no one changes the years on that page anymore? If you were his web developer (hypothetically) it's feasible you might have a screenshot that far back, but that would make you a good and organized developer- not one who doesn't update copy or hard code an auto update.

Lose the /about/ at the end and rerun it.

Just a note: When you click a link inside of an old page on that site it might end up taking you to an entirely different year. Non-linear time travel at it's finest and you don't even have to get up.

We need the Google "Wayback Machine" so we can see what the picture looked like in 2010 or earlier. ;-) Barring that, where's Toby or Jeremy?? They're masters at this sort of forensic photoanalysis. I still maintain the photo itself has been messed with; otherwise, it has been painstakingly staged so that the two paintings' tilts are carefully aligned parallel to the camera frame, and more tellingly, positioned perpendicular to the camera line of sight so the left and right sides of each painting are parallel. I still think the latter is unlikely since the camera field of view is fairly wide, and field curvature should have been apparent in both pictures. Yet no curvature is present in either painting, while the wooden display table left of Forrest (his right) DOES show ordinary field curvature: the table's straight lines are curved. Q.E.D.: edited photo.

Homer and Zap you both have great observations. I was just looking for a higher def image. I won’t be able to tell till tomorrow afternoonish if 437k is a higher resolution. Did anyone else have a longer load time for the 2nd video in the SB? THAT I’d like analyzed.

The Hero with an F in Good - has redeeming qualities that make part of him want to be a hero out of a desire to do good or the right thing. This character almost invariably has a checkered or mysterious past, or a bad reputation.

"Oddly, there is what appears to be a camera above the one on the right" (referring to the Hurley).
Not the first time we've seen an errantly placed camera in photos Forrest has published. Puzzling and intriguing.
