  • Scrapbook 188 - major hint for lead searcher

Does anyone believe the Scrapbook 188 about Dizzy Dean is a major hint for the lead searcher? If not, I'll explain part of the reasoning. Curious what others think.

What if it was those kind of cards you are supposed to be playing cañasta with? Think about it, if they rely on your subconscious and are thin slices of would they lie to you??

Anyway, I don't even wanna talk about it anymore.
What do you mean "afraid to talk about it"; I did talk about it; in the second post of this thread.

It was as much a notice to Searchers as it may have been a hint to the Hunter.

          Regards,

It was. There's 2 things he mentions that you need to use your imagination to be able to see. Same with the gut feeling comment. Imo.

San Antonio. Haha, wow. Cool (for my own reasons). I really gotta wonder. I am not thinking he is giving a clue on that one. I think its about the lead searcher.

Here is my theory. The story is about a pitcher. Pitcher = pitch = pine pitch = pine tar = tar = tarry. Forrest said he would have liked to sat under more pine trees. Is he hinting the chest is near a pine tree? Just like the Journal of the Trapper, a story about beaver hunting = beavers.

Sammy Baugh is the 200 foot Searcher. Dizzy Dean is the Hunter. Oh...and so am I - Orion, the Hunter.

                  Peace,
                  O.

Seems reasonable considering he was going to throw himself on the chest and dare you to find him.
                      He also said the following:

"Let my bones be fertilizer to grow some more pine trees." - (On the Road with Charlie, May 8, 2017)

Question becomes, how close is "near"? How deep is a hole?

Those bottles are collectable now, and can be worth quite a bit. I know because I,m a collector and have real old Dr P. I bet I could sell it and finance a whole BOTG trip. I even have a buyer lined up, but would need to travel to arrange. So much to do and so little..... I think I,m rabbling and need sleep

Skin, guts and most body parts will fertilize the pines.
The bones possibly would be preserved due to dripping pine sap mummifying his bones. Apparently there are bone hunters in Yellowstone that crush them bones up and make an aphrodisiac to send to China. Fenn could end up in a tablet of viagra. HARD to imagine, but it could happen, he to could be stacked up neatly in a bottle like an olive.
I do think it was a hint to the hunter, actually a stern warning, quess we find out this summer. I’m thinking a big trout is in order.

I always thought that was... baffling.
