                        • One of my kids asked if my tears were sad tears or frustration tears. The other kid responded....those are 2020 tears. She does not have a clue how right she is.

                              I’ve been so focused on the reality of such a great loss, but I’m also trying to allow myself room to do things we used to do again.

                              I found your picture really interesting. I know there are many references to a cemetery in TTOTC. I believe this picture somehow captures that exact feeling. Naturally haunted. You have to go through the cemetery to get there. The little duck path on the right, it’s surely a portal to a different place. Not every cemetery has a little path like that way at the back.

                              I think Forrest took a little hidden path just like that. Always near to us, but where no one would ever go looking.
