I don't know what a poe is, but there is certainly a rise in society of people basing their arguments on emotion rather than reason. You see it in our public discourse all the time now - whether it's a debate about climate change, abortion, COVID vaccines, whatever. People are so sure that they're right or that they own the moral high ground that it justifies everything they say or do.

So if this is a poe, it is actually presenting a straw-man version of your typical "nooker" as much as a straw-man of the arguments against 9MH.
It's the age-old problem associated with internet discussions, that, although I don't often say it out loud, I have sort of summed up in my own mind as, "Sometimes you can't tell if they're just lying or if they really are that f-ing stupid." And sometimes I just assume that the person who is sitting at that keyboard is just a normal human being whose mind has been taken over, not by shape-shifting reptile aliens, which is just silly, but by the ghosts of pterodactyls -- pterodactyl fingers leave a certain clicking sound in the text they type.👍 3Comment

Gunrunner - thanks for the explanation. What a twisted world we live in, eh? Maybe I'm getting too old for this....
But, in this day and time, I have come to realize that People are so sure that they're right because they are convinced that what they think or 'want' is the only correct way, that it justifies everything they say or do.
And, that leads to the conclusion that " they really are that f-ing stupid."
thanks,

Spoon, and Gunrunner, pardon my interjection:

Ignorance > Opinion > Belief > Understanding > Knowing. This is Plato man.....the dude is okay.
Forrest said, "where the first clue is," he also said/wrote, “It seems logical to me that a deep thinking treasure searcher could use logic to determine an important clue to the location of the treasure. Is someone doing that now and I don’t know it?”
If your location is based in belief and can't go to knowing, then admit ignorance and to go back to the drawing board and apply above Forrest's quotes until you can reach "Knowing" to satisfy Plato....hahahaha
If you truly are at the "Knowing" then you should be able to demonstrate location with certainty.
The above is a humorous take on a possible prescription for those possibly "f-ing stupid," who want to recognize the difference between the "What is" versus a "Wished for" reality: subjectivity versus objectivity....as applied to location. It ain't about what a person subjectively believes....it is about what they can objectively prove.Comment

It is SO FUNNY for people to believe Forrest Fenn not only put a picture of the place he put the chest and the name of the location in TTOTC And that somehow fits, there are hints that will help you with the clues in the poem. In Love With Yellowstone told anyone who thought about it, that it was not there, if it was Forrest lied. If he lied why believe there was a chest at all?
F told us in TTOTC that he was in love with Yellowstone. You say that is a red herring. Every time f was asked about his special place he would use terms of endearment such as very special, special, very dear to him which are synonymous with love. STOP rejecting f, logic, the information presented give your mind a break from the lunacy that swept you under. F said to let your thoughts flow without forcing weird ideas that don't align with his data.Last edited by Hear me all; 05-27-2023, 08:54 PM.Comment

For us to believe you is say to f lied through his teeth all day everyday throughout the Chase. Maybe you aren't aware of all he told us during the Chase, but one example was a question posed by a searcher about whether f was trying to be tricky or place red herrings to trip us up. He answered by saying no funny business, no red herrings, no need to be mentally disturbed to find his chest. He said at other times average folks could find the treasure by reading TTOTC. Other times he said the answers were all there and it didn't require doing the oddball stuff you have done. Am I the only person who can't see anything in the images you show us?

Liar and truth-teller riddle. Ever heard of it? Link below:

If Jack didn't find the chest where he was searching at 9mh then you have to explain how he came into possession of it.

Jack never told us where he searched. The condor actor did say that searched 9MH but also said they searched another are at the outset of entering the Chase and after Jack found it, he told us that it was in the first place he searched. You seem scared to ask Shannon because you don't want to see your ideas flushed down with the Brown.👍 1Comment

"I figured out the location where he wished to die (and thus, where his treasure was) back in 2018, but it took me many months to figure out the exact spot."
"I spent about 25 full days of failure looking for the treasure at that location before getting it."
Not sure why that is so hard to understand. He figured out it was 9mh in 2018 but it took him a long time to find exactly where at 9mh it was.

In your closed mind, nothing is possible you have been shown and you can't see the truth. f said there are hints n the book that will help with the clues, telling people where to look is NOT A HINT. You made rules that f did not and I hate to tell you your post solve shows how far you underestimated a brilliant mind. Just like everyone here you have been shown the truth, and can't take the time or do not have the mind to see it. You built your world around a lie and sat here on Thor as people in the know watched you make a fool of yourself.Comment

Um, no. If Jack didn't find the chest at 9MH, he didn't find the chest at 9MH. Period. You don't have to accept a false explanation just because you lack a true one. Kinda like the old preacher said, "I don't have to know what a thing is, in order to know what it isn't." See what I mean?👍 2Comment

Read this over slowly. He says getting it. Instead of finding it. Odd. If Jack per say spent several months near NMH, Yellowstone. Or anywhere in Wyoming. How was he able afford it. Cheap hotels $100+ a night. Rental car, food etc. Minimum $6000 for a city kid from Michigan in debt. All while not working. Obvousily there's a reason why he says he left it there to contact Forrest for permission to "get it". Which Forrest said was never needed. That lie had to be told to switch the narrative so. He could say it was found in NMH without the park claiming maliciously. And why would Forrest need Jack's permission to say he hid it in Wyoming. Forrest never once said before the find. He did not want the location or solve revealed. Only that he had the copywrite to his autobiography. Forrest basically said the opposite. The finder wouldn't be able to to keep quite. It's to bad Forrest didn't clear the air. Like His last flight still crashed and his true legacy burned and forgotten.Comment
