Shiloh knows zilch. Kpro never has been in the know. The chances that anything of substance on this site being share is zero. I would like to be surprised.

I can't prove a negative, but I have a pretty good memory and in anything I read, watched or listened to, Forrest never specified there were exactly "two" ways to get to the treasure. I could imagine him admitting there was more than one way to get there, but clearly the poem's clues are specific to one path.

If all the clues were solvable from home (and I'm in the camp that believes they were), then once someone has done so it seems to me they could take whatever route made the most logistic sense. For instance, the "nook" location south of the Madison is quite inaccessible via Madison wading at many times of year -- including June 5th, 2020, when the Madison was running at 900 cfps. That would be the most direct route to the nook, but you *could* cross to the south side at 7 mile bridge and hike 2 miles east from there back to 9MH. Takes a lot longer, but much safer.

I seem to recall f quoting Yogi by saying whenever he and Peggy came to a fork in the road, they took it.
I hope it was a dirty fork and one you’d have to wash up before using. Putting some work into a find gives a person a sense of pride. Retrieving a knife would also be nice and par for the course. Finding a spoon fed would be the nicest of them all, allowing a person an opportunity to finally eat. That's if the trail you were on allowed you to catch some game. I guess that's where the Chase comes in.

I expect the finders to do the right thing, or the solver to tell everything they know. Like I said never put your information on a PC that is connected to the WWW. For every hacker, there is someone who is better at watching. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Observer_effect_(physics) when you think you know it all, someone will always show you how many doors you left open, you never thought about. oops, that is more words than anyone wanted to hear or is it see?

Go in from one way, you can easily quibble your way right straight to it. But if you go in from the other way, you're going to have to prevaricate some!

I expect more of the same.
Conservatism is the belief that a small subset of the people is protected by the law, but not bound by it, while another, larger group is bound by the law, but is not protected by it.

May be another frivolous lawsuit, more pictures of "the log", gossip from someone in the know, something Shiloh said? I think that's less than thirty one.

Hearmeall has a wealth of Forrest's sayings in his head, that no one ever heard Forrest say except for him.

“If you look the word burial up in the dictionary, it talks about sepulchering, about entombing, and there’s all kind of definitions. Quite frankly, it’s very confusing. So I don’t want to answer the question whether the treasure chest is buried or not. Let me give you an example: if I laid the treasure chest on top of the ground, and some weeds blew in there and covered it up, now is it buried or isn’t it? Is it sepulchered? Is it entombed. So, it’s best not to go there I think. The clues will lead you the treasure and whether it’s buried or not, you can find it if you find the blaze as a result of starting with the first clue. That’s what you have to do.”

With lots of people searching ‘Boots on the Ground’ for the Forrest Fenn Treasure Chest, you might wonder in what ways they expect to find the treasure chest?  In a crevice, on a high ledge, or buried deep? Searchers know they have to first follow the nine clues in Forrest’s …

The treasure that Jack found appears to have been mostly buried...but it is difficult to say if the top was covered with any depth. But, yeah, buried.
