Would be hard to throw your bike into the "water high".

"What is wrong with me just riding my bike out there and throwing it in the “water high” when I am through with it?" -f

Yes, but only one has a name like "Cloud Peak" that can translate into "water high".

Nah. He’s just got the correct solution that everyone simply refuses to admit. It fits together like a puzzle. Titling a chapter “In Love With Yellowstone” was the greatest decoy possible. Not4but242Walk just went beneath the surface and played by the rules of reading the book, reading it again, doing that 5-6 more times, and then thinking hard. Well done.

(Although if Not4but242Walk will allow me the indulgence, I think I nailed it with the islet in Piney Creek. I’m guessing the place to stand and see the blaze is on the bridge across Piney Creek that is part of the Solitude Trail. The islet is between the bridge and Bomber Mountain.)

Yes, I agree that islet is most likely for that location. You had mentioned the football field size area that Jack has referenced, and also said there was the 'pirate' point of view. Fenn mentioned Capt. Kidd / Gardiners Island.

Additionally, the "Physics tells me the treasure is wet." could be taken as "A physicist lectures me that the treasure is wet." referring to Sir Roger Penrose (Penrose Creek).

It’s also a place that someone normally wouldn’t go (or whatever Fenn’s quote was). Lots of people on the train probably set eyes on that islet, but no reason to venture there.

Also see this link, for another important clue:

Thanks to Ben searcher2342 for providing the following pics. There appears to be a missing rude aluminum grave marker in the total given on page 123 of TFTW... ...when compared to the broken down table on page 125:

Mountain bikes, road bikes, and e-bikes (class 1 and 3) are permitted on established public roads, parking areas, and designated routes (see below) in Yellowstone National Park.

Truly sorry, I meant no offence with my sense of humor.
Aren’t we all ChatGPT? I mean, some of us have probably been broken out of jail, but still, the theory of mind is as fascinating as humanity itself. That we can make fun of ourselves is a vital component to resilience and perseverance. (imo)
When I’m able to go back out to the Rockies I’d like to hike in your solve area- it’s already on my list.

None taken by me whatsoever! (I suspect Not4but242Walk will say the same—he seems like a great guy, but despite what people have suggested, he and I are not the same person.)

None taken here either Rose Livingstone.

Although, ChatGPT makes for an interesting analysis tool, it's important to remember that for any good solve:

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” -Albert Einstein
