So if FF was so into using the mystery poem in the chest to verify the finder, why didn't FF ask Jack that in his email?
Instead Jack said: Skippy, Donna, Crayton
and FF was all BY JOVE YOU'VE DONE IT! CONGRATULATIONS FINDER!!! YEAH U CAN SEND ME PHOTOS BUT I ALREADY KNOW YOU FOUND IT.

The "tell me poem" is like the "show me stick." It's like someone is trying to build a house upon a rock somehow.....

It's a good question. Why didn't Forrest ask Jack about the poem right away? How does that jive with these recordings from Dal? It could be simply because he knew where Jack had been looking, so he knew it was likely true, but he did ask for pictures, right?. Maybe pictures were more preferable than the poem, but the poem was a backup method if there was any question or if it was clear the finder wanted to stay anonymous to Forrest. Maybe its because Forrest knew the poem was in the Olive Jar which might not have been opened right away. I don't know the answer.

If I was a conspiracy theorist, I'd say its because Forrest knew the poem wasn't in there. And why wasn't it in there? Because the poem directly named the original location of the treasure before it was moved to 9 mile hole so it could be found there. So the poem had to be removed. Now that's a really unlikely theory, but I'm sure some conspiracy theorists will love it.

And there it is....an "alleged poem" now ties directly into 9MH....without the requisite "IMO," and stated as fact....hahahaha

Forrest didn't need to ask about the poem, he knew something was awry.

I haven’t read every post here, so I’m not sure if this has been proposed or not, but I believe it has something to do with the way the poem in TTOTC was decrypted, and can also be applied to the poem in the chest. This reveals a watermark of sorts.

Connecting the dots, DRAWING, something along those lines. You would know because the finder would be able to explain that method and it is not easily reproduced. I do suppose if you knew the method, a fake could be reverse engineered, but maybe that was the final test?

Probably not, but fun to entertain.

Here's another possibility. Cythania is lying.
She's been caught lying more than once.
Notice how she gives herself an out, "He might of been testing me." - That's what good liars do.
Now that Forrest is dead its amazing how many "news" stories and conversations have come up.
You make-up anything you want now about Forrest and he's isn't here to disprove it.
Put zero confidence in this or anything else someone happens to "reveal". Otherwise you're just gullible.

Nice triangalation 2far. Half pie protractor measuring device is the same distance as f's tumb to pinky measurements. you only need a quarter of it. Like a clock. TIME. The eight o clock might be the angle needed.

Something tells me you might need a few angles to connect the dots. All in my opinion of course.
