    “your quest to cease.”

    your [quest=journey=travel there]

    “to cease” = “two c’s”

    <3 <— heart = two c c

    ***”follow your heart”***

***if you’re still following, thank you***

That is where we cease. Which is also where we begin, such as life.

OMG (seriously), a broken heart. SOB…

I think that the polar bear puzzle that Forrest referenced once was a hint to this.
GE lines don't follow the curvature of the earth, so they are off.
As a secondary point, I think that it was impossible to get exact straight lines on more than 2 points on the map, such as 3 points lining up exactly in a line. You might find a few, but not as many as needed in Forrest's hints that go with the 9 clues.

The thing is that Forrest said he knew "exactly how much", and that leaves me thinking that he had some kind of system that we could discover. I've looked for that a little bit, but it's escaped me so far.
On the other hand, it could be a simple "withing x degrees" sort of thing. Or maybe miles.

      Who knows

Up until a few weeks ago this was always just a mild confirmation for me, but now I see it as a major hint. I knew my gunsight was off, so I didn't use it. Didn't really need it, but now that I know it's OK to adjust, and why, it's an important piece of the puzzle.

I don't see it. That's not to say that you're wrong, but I have other uses for the poem's words.
Still, I've noticed multiple uses for things like hints (I saw someone else say this not long ago, too), so I guess it's possible for the poem too.

Did you notice the alligator tail/ back that has been photoshopped onto the wall just above Forrest's right shoulder.

To me it looks like ink migrating from that water droplet spot below it. It could be photoshopped, sure, but with a simpler explanation it’s not a direct hint. There are weird things that can be explained naturally or as a coincidence only spooky in the biased mind of the beholder, weird things that can be explained as done on purpose by people to mess with or communicate to other people, and weird things I cannot yet explain.
The last category is especially interesting to me.

Forrest did a lot of fun stuff, it seems to me.

Which parallel are you peering into?

Neat. I think strong emotions can imprint on the environment. Always wondered if a strong enough imagination and corresponding emotions can imprint things that aren’t there. (So as to be picked up later by another)
