I think it simply has to be in a spot where he was as a child a tremendous amount. The memories we make in those years are the boldest treasures we ever have

Yes, where the slide, treasure Island, sandstone pad, cement and excessive mud is along the Gibbon River at the spot.

Along the Gibbon, you will find ropes Teachers' everywhere from the road construction of 2009/2010. 'Good time to hide a treasure', no one was around..
You will. Find the asterisk, grave marker, Duck rock, artists paint pots, Chocolate Paint pots.
Secret Valley, Karsk cliffs 1000 feet straight up in Gibbon Canyon.
The water pipe at the spot as in f's picture of him and his fish standing next to a water pipe....
You will find many Cenotes at the spot, and the HOB, where you put in below it at the ford

Can anyone list any clues or hints for 9 mile?
You can file this information under Misc in your trash can. F

Jack didn’t solve the poem or find the treasure. Everything he says is vague nonsensical garbage because he’s 100% in the dark imo.

-has a crash that happened just before turning 13 (his mind stays at about 13)

-pays tribute to those and his survivor guilt (shot down twice, renal cancer)

-where he put 265 coins in the chest (one for each USAF career path)

-he placed 42 pounds of treasure and chest near (B-17 serial 42-3399)

-wanted to entomb himself, per Jack (embed himself into rock)

-has a rude aluminum grave marker (one you must 'look quickly down' from its fleeting glimmer)

-one whose blaze is named after a feminist character, Sharazad (https://www.amazon.com/Running-Away-.../dp/0380002051)

Makes perfect sense. That song just sold me down the hole of truth:

If it was related to a crash site it would probably be more likely the B17 that crashed 4 miles southeast of West Yellowstone on Jack Straw Ridge. B17 #42-30260 - Crashed on May 23 1943. One survivor named McDonald bailed out and was found in a tree a day or so later by someone who knew the Fenn's. The rescuer, retired Yellowstone Park Ranger Tom Ela moved to Santa Fe when he retired. McDonald was so cold when he was found and he said that all he could think about was a hot cup of coffee.

                      Hey barn,
Where you wrote "Warm Water halts at the Madison" is not the same as "where warm waters halt." Your forgetting the "where" and the "waters" and the "halt." It's so simple. Cheers.

pretty sure f said he'd been to the place a few times...so there seems to be a big gap between tremendous and a few.

Nine mile fits because the irony is that it is only for one to go in ALONE. And when we die we are ALONE. It is the place where he wanted to die...no doubt about it.
Seems like logic could cause one to draw many other seemingly valid conclusions regarding “riches of old.”

Also, you and Alanis Morissette should both look up the word irony.

I'm sure it's just confirmation bias on my part, but those mountains look more like Glacier than anywhere else. I mean, to me it's obvious: Going-to-the-Sun in Glacier. But if no one else sees it, must be just my imagination, huh?

This reminds me of when Forrest talked about the teeth of the Rockies. Nobody who has been to the east side of Glacier could deny that teeth of the Rockies was in reference to Glacier with it's mountains protruding high into the sky. There is no doubt Glacier Park is the home of Brown with the entrance of the park WWWH.
