IMHO the ending is only delayed by people not excepting the ending. There was a ending, just not the one we wanted. We only accept what we want to be true, but we can't move on until we let go of our delusions of our superiority. I have to repeat this to my self. "I am not the lead searcher, the treasure was found by an unlikeable guy and it's ok that I was wrong. I'm not any less of a person just because a jack-a&@ beat me to it"
