  • Kiss a Frog, Lick a Toad

The Park Service was in the news recently to warn people not to lick Colorado River Toads....

    https://wgntv.com/news/nexstar-media...service-warns/

Don’t lick the toad they say…..don’t do it. I did not see anything in the article about Mr. Toad’s wild ride, but I think that if you were to lick one then you might see rainbows and find the pot of gold. Another article called them “Hypnotoads.” Cheers.

There are only 24 hours in a day, and so many stupid, life-threatening things to try . . . like wearing all black clothes and lying in the middle of a
freeway at night (it's important that nothing -- such as eyeglasses -- reflect the glare of approaching headlights).
I knew this guy who thought if you lived where it snowed you would be stupid to drive a white vehicle. He drove a black pu truck I just couldn’t resist the urge to ask him if he drove at night

I guess searchers can keep on posting as long as the LS is still around. Who knows for sure if there is a LS.

My account is 4 years old, yet I am only a member, you would think I should be a senior member solely because of time. What makes someone the LS?

                      Hey Jones,
IMO..."The Lead Searcher" is the "LS." I understand, somewhere along 2017 the community seemingly notice a "change" that was observed in Forrest's behavior, (what he said/wrote/etc). Folks thought that his tenor or whatever had changed and then someone assigned the observation with the theory that Forrest was communicating with a particular searcher....and Wela the term "LS" was born.

Although rooted in observations.....It is possible that it was all a mirage....brought on by the licking of toads.....or else, the kissing of frogs. Cheers.

                      Cheers.

                        Hey,
Attached is an article about people in the woods seeing Bigfoot. IMO, licking toads and making claims without showing findings and using logic to substantiate the claim.....is like the people in the forest who are licking toads and seeing Bigfoot. Perpetuating.....a myth....unfounded. Taste the rainbow.....in the land of make believe....Cheers.

"Iron Henry: "The frog prince also has a loyal servant named Henry (or Harry) who had three iron bands affixed around his heart to prevent it from breaking in his sadness when his master got under a spell. When the frog prince reverts to his human form, Henry's overwhelming happiness causes all three bands to break, freeing his heart from its bonds.[8]""
