You should not get confused about research and hints from the book being a part of the solution. Or things Forrest and his artist friends did in the area. I would suggest you read other books written by Forrest Fenn and note how they are nothing like TTOTC. When he put out the scrapbook about seeing faces and dogs in his tiles, what do you think he was hinting at?
All I need is my two legs to get from NY to CA yet I know there are better ways. As for the Post-it, you do know f put his life story in an olive jar. The real shame is, this is the real location and many can't see it and how well f weaved his stories into and with the area. I know the finders did not solve it and they had chest in hand. Most searchers never even picked up on the number three and how it was applied to the solution. They made up reasons like the other stanzas were just fluff or when you reach the end you find yourself at the beginning again, becasue it is the same place.

Not slow, it is hard to see what he did. t was way more than most expected. Every hint has such a light touch as if you needed there to see the one. f it was easy it would have been solved in a year. Nine Mile would have been solved in a couple of months. That place was searched over and over in the first few years. Sometimes I think it was f just in case I am kidnapped spot.
We know the real location could be reached any time of year. We also know if cancer returned he might not have time for some park to open. If you rent a cabin on private land means leased land. Not a ticket into Yellowstone.
