The two words Forrest was looking for were RAINBOW and TREASURES. One of 7 letters and the other one 9 giving you 79 GOLD.
The title of the poem 'RAINBOW TREASURES' IMO.

Scanning for things like alliteration is good.

      1) where, warm, waters

      2) perish, plane's, plunge

Must have been those Coke-bottle glasses everyone was wearing back in '69.

How could anyone ever figure something like this out? Talk about stitching together pottery, this one takes the cake. Sorry, no harm intended shyorphan.
By the way. If that cake is angel food, I'll take a piece.

It sure would be nice to be able to zoom in and see what it says in the article's text under that picture. I'm sure it's just an allegory of someone we know.

Nope, no allegory this time. It's the real thing. Thanks Not4but242Walk!

We know that Forrest watched his e-mails closely and knew who was making progress in cracking the clues. In the audio that Cynthia shared with f and Dal conversing, f told Dal he didn't want to stop reading his e-mails because he might get one from "that" guy.

And yet he didn’t. F had not even opened a majority of jacks emails, oh the irony. F had other priorities. IMO only.

I am sure you are privy to information I am not . Having said that , what you posted tells me that he wasn't the one . Only my opinion and how I interpret that info.

Just an opinion, but if you were emailing f prior to f telling that to Dal, you're not 'that guy'.
It could be "that guy" signified a notorious student, who was extremely close to the end of the rainbow, like Dal himself. Of course, I'm typically wrong concerning the ability to see flowers and discipline.

Forrest may have scanned for a couple words from us, but what's to say we couldn't scan for a couple words from him?
