This can mean so many things.

In war, humanity is the first casualty.

We may not be fighting wars each day but we do often face struggles and battles.

Let’s not allow our humanity to become a casualty. We are here to be with each other, to be of use, and care for this land.

Making even small adjustments can change our lives for the better and even influence the future once we are gone.

We are not like leaves who are casualties of the wind.

We are strong, we are resilient, we have the power to take control of our lives and avoid being casualties.

I guess a net would be a quicker way to catch them. It sure beats having to pull a line full of fish out of the water before you try getting away.

Either way works for me. I’ve tracked long enough to know how to beat the best of those who try and chase me. See, I just mingle among the crowd and that’s it. And by me I mean some one else.

Perhaps the secret to being and staying young at heart is in holding onto that childlike bewilderment of the world around us.
Everything is new to a child, they marvel at the extraordinary things we have become accustomed to seeing and take for granted. Can you look at old things with fresh eyes and be in awe once more? Maybe, with a little effort and imagination.
