I've said it before, but I'll say it again..... Jack's purpose was to help bring an end to the search and buy time for the solver.... A solver who sent Forrest a very precise solution but because of the pandemic could not go boots on the ground in 2020 and who was never told that he had the correct solution.... Forrest, while he was still alive, and now Jack or at least someone hiding behind the persona of Jack, have provided numerous hints to the solver designed to encourage him not to give up the chase.... Many do not recognize these hints because they are specific to him alone.... We likely won't receive any of the answers we are looking for until the solver completes his quest and becomes the finder. At that point, Forrest's promise that all would eventually be known will come true....

Ah yes, binoculars guy, his hidden view was quite intoxicating. I can just imagine how brave he must have felt with his new wide angle set of camouflaged Leopolds. Blind guys can be like that you know.

Here are the hints as I see them....

          Obvious hints,
          The stick
          Jack's email anagram
Jack's failure to claim the rights of the finder
He has not opened the olive jar
He has not released the solution
He has not claimed the "special item"
He does not have the chest in his possession
He has not sold the chest
Jack outing himself as the "finder"
He was never legally compelled to come forward
And was never likely to be...
The strange lack of convincing photographs
Forrest never specifically named him as the finder
Trying to convince everyone that there was no point in going to look, even for the blaze
Jack's lackadaisical attitude towards recovering the chest
Jack's "slip up" that Forrest told him to call as soon as the chest was recovered
The photo of a clean flimsy backpack
          The obvious photo manipulation
Jack's admission that he hadn't read $17 a square inch

          Hints specific to the "solver",
          Shy guy from back east
          Other treasures to be found
          The fake blaze
          The broken blaze
Figuring out where Forrest wanted to die
The story will be revealed eventually
Searching the same area repeatedly for a blaze
          Pirates
          Crying
          2018
          No GPS, no anagrams
Jack not spending more time with Forrest
Forrest looking for the finder at the Fennale
The finder's wish to remain anonymous
          Student loans
DP saying that the GPS solve was "barking up the wrong tree"
Reveal that the chest was found in Wyoming
          The initial recovered chest photo
          Two slip ups
          Forrest calling Jack a genius
Jack's pre-chase difficulties as mentioned in medium article

I'm sure that I'm missing a few... But this is a good start....

Actually, as it turns out, I was forgetting a lot!

            Obvious hints,
Jack's admitted interest in money and investing vs lack of interest in selling the story
Jack saying that Forrest wanted the place to be kept secret
Jack's level of conviction that he had the right location vs his lack of planning for what he would do if he found it
            Jack's out of state representation
Jack's continued use of the words "I think" in his email responses
Jack admitting to being out of shape and yet he carried the treasure out in one go
No "hands on" photos of Jack and the chest
Jack didn't know if he had any more photos
DP implying that the medium article was a "work of fiction"
Jack's admission to having written the medium article
Kpro's admission that Forrest wanted keep people from going botg during the pandemic
Forrest never congratulated the finder in public
Forrest said he had not spoken to the finder prior to the find... Jack communicated with him on several occasions

            Hints specific to the solver,
Forrest's offer to have the finder present himself in court
            Jack calling Forrest his friend
Jack's mention of the chest being found on uneven ground
            Jack's mention of a nook
            The basic timeline of events
All of the clues were in Wyoming
The solution was simple and straight forward
            Jack's comments concerning wwwh

I agree it’s possible and I hope it’s true. I can’t believe Forrest would want his masterpiece to never be revealed.

The chest was sold twice, first by Jack, then by LLC at auction. Did the solver want to sell the chest? And who got the money, solver? No. You think too highly of Jack & Co. No one protects the solver. The solver is dangerous for Jack and Fenn's family. The solver knows the solution and the real place. This will destroy the entire script of the false ending, written after Forrest's death.

Which brings up the very question on my mind today.

What would a person do if they found the actual hiding place of the treasure and could disprove the Wyoming story? What if a person used their theory, went to the location, and found a consolation prize chest with $10,000 bucks worth of treasure in it along with a note that said, "Congratulations, the original chest has been auctioned off but you can keep this consolation prize."

Besides, on the back side of a dollar is a pyramid with an all seeing eye. Not that I wonder but a few may be able to make a connection that makes sense, if you think about it.

The other side of the pyramid sports an eye patch.

I always thought “Jack’s quadplet” was a significant nod to the solver.

                                others:
                                -Jack’s name
                                -Jack’s water problems
-all kinds of daily trolling- goodness only knows what has been trotted out before the solver just to see what they’d do… think the Game with Michael Douglas.
                                -crying and LOLing
                                -rental cars

I’m willing to bet there was almost no limit to what the “Oompa Loompas” might pull. I bet they knew when the solver was BOTG, had someone dress like him, just as a shot across the bow. Probably rented a car to him. “Sorry sir, the radio is broken, it only gets FF99.22, The Blaze. Lots of doo wop and such.” It was some make and model lIke a Chevrolet Spirit, Kia Soul, or a Dodge Bullet.

Staging of everything from hotel rooms, to bunkhouses, to signs and people. Solver pulls up to the put in and the sign says “closed today only, no solve yet for maintenance issues.” Checks into a rental and finds the TV on a movie, set to a paratrooping scene, recently watched just to the jump point. Backwards bicycles parked in the back. A playroom with airplane mobiles and army tanks everywhere. “Hope you enjoy your stay at 22 W. Onka Drive! Call 777-2211 and ask for Finn McGold if you need anything!” Solver probably got a package of crying towels in the mail from a Ben Dover from McDonald’s, Texas.

I imagine that poor soul believes pigs fly at this point, because he’s probably actually seen it happen thanks to “Chase magic.” Fingers crossed that whats left of him can get to the core of the thing this summer, because he’s gotta be running on fumes and stale barbecue ends. Imagine having to wander the countryside for 3+ years, carrying a hollow turnip, no money, no food, pets’ heads falling off…
