  • I alluded to my 20-sec phone call to him last year, right here on THOR...

So on 11-13-2019, 10:48 PM, I left something out when I posted this...

I left out that this actually happened. I called him last year and said "I'm 5-Leaf, who found the blaze. I've really enjoyed your Chase" He was like "okay then, bye now" (and rather horrified).

Now let's hail the most important work of fiction in this Chase year...

From "A Remembrance of Forrest Fenn" by "The Finder"
"Forrest had the ultimate poker face. In the summer of 2018, the only time I had talked to Forrest on the phone before finding the treasure, I called to tell him in desperation I had found a “blaze” — the mark that the poem says points to the treasure — that seemed after some effort by me to have been faked by a cruel fellow searcher even though it had evidently been there for years. I couldn’t believe the chances. I told him exactly where I had been searching, but the call only lasted about 20 seconds, and he gave no impression he found my discovery at all interesting.
That fake blaze was less than 1,000 feet from where I eventually found the treasure. And that’s not even the half of that story.
When I met Forrest, he had forgotten about the phone call and found it amusing when I told him. Of course, he had no idea how much I had tortured myself trying to read his reaction to that call."

What I find INTERESTING is that my 2019 allusion to this phone call was used in the article, and so was the fact that the blaze- is found in the poem, the way I did it. If this doesn't trip your radar- you just don't want to see it
A FAKE BLAZE? hahaha, there's only ONE Blaze!

Fake blazes should probably be reported to the NTSB and/or FAA for further study.

Just saying, everybody is studying the Medium article- let's have an experiment in perception, shall we?!

What if this was indeed about you, 5LB? What if he wanted to tell you that you found a fake blaze and it was a cruel incident? What if this sentence was for you to find closure? In this case you didn't seem to get the message... but hey, it's possible and even plausible, isn't it? :-)

So that means the finder gave you a great big hint, so go get the damn chest already and shut up.

I don't get it- why should I "shut up?" WTH is the use being here if you won't listen to "finder?" How can it be a community without siding with me to find out why I was either burned by FF or my posts from last year were used by a brilliant fake-finder writer? Dudes... I'm not trying to shrink your ball sacks or wither your manhood- I'm trying to get to the bottom of it, because believe me, if the chest was pulled because I was close, it'll be goddamn hell.

It's not surprising to see people plow through like this isn't happening. It's already cost fervent Chasers 6 months.

As the chest seems to be gone, why do you not post your complete solution of the poem?

Because people are still plowing through without pausing on what I said 5-1/2 months ago, that there'd be:
*No solve (able to be seen/acknowledged, due to peoples' lack of interest. Plus their self-promotion and not wanting it to end.
*No finder (because it, in any classic sense, doesn't exist)
*No place of find (because that cannot exist without the first two)
*just a growing frenzy at the lack of information. I said that there'd only be hoaxers and gold porn (released pictures).
                      Correct on every account.
*Book!? I know I'd hate the idea of anyone's book, just because it all seems so fake, but if this all turns out the way it is looking- the ACTUAL CORRECT CLAIM in a book would be alright. The correct claim would appear with the most proof.
...I think Forrest knew a solver would have to fight awhile, but that Forrest's work of art in cryptography would be forced to the surface. Just a guess...

"20 seconds" phone call is how you know "The Finder" was full of shit, and simply someone averaging all of our search stories into some work of fiction.
