I believe that theme runs deep in The Chase, even to the point that the winning solve has a twin that mirrors it.
I and a couple of others have discussed this in the past- the correct solve mirrors another location in a different state.
Incidentally, as I've stated before, my solution has at least two of everything in regards to the clues. One side of the canyon mirrors the opposite side.Finding Jessica

We know from the Medium post that Forrest had a preferred place for the treasure to go, and where would it be if not a museum? If it's a place that was going to respect his legacy then perhaps he would want his favourite bracelet there too.

But yeah, I carried that around all my life. I had the satisfaction of knowing, though, that somewhere out there is a hard case who's missing a boot.
