    Thank you.

I recall reading it somewhere that made me think it was credible too, but have not been able to find it.

Saying it was not near water and that you would not need to cross a large body of water is quite straightforward and if f said that to her I don’t think she could get that confused. This is the reason her life partner died and she was speaking to Forrest Fenn, I doubt she will ever forget that conversation.

I think the solution of the poem should be released for giving closure. But I think some elements in the solution were so private and also painfull for Forrest and eventually his family, that this secret will not be completely released.. Forrest also stated that he would take the explanation of the Omegas into his grave.
      IMO key elements are;
      - a brunette in 1950
      - a period where Peggy was not his girl friend anymore
      - a suicide
      - Florence (the older sister of the brunette?

When heeding Forrest's mention of taking the omegas to the grave with him, that option CAN only result if those omegas were mirrored. But so many things were said by Forrest, how do we take each of them at face value, and apply each of them to their respective puzzle-peace locations? Yep, it's so dog-gone crazy, we might find it easier taking a mystical journey to dreamland and climbing through the looking glass-mirror with Alice.

          I thought the same.

It should be revealed, it has been posted, it’s been discounted by most; who really cares at this point?
BTW. 9MH was never even close.

Unless you have the advertised chest in possession, I feel it is pointless to reveal anything you think has to do with the true solve. Actually.......even at this point, having the chest in hand doesn't mean you solved it, so trying to reveal your solution to anyone will ultimately fall on deaf ears. IMO

                Hey Chameleon,
What do you think is the purpose of this blog? Cheers.

I'm not sure what the purpose of this blog is. It's most likely different for each and everyone one of us. Some are here for entertainment, some are here to hint that their solve is correct without telling us their whole solve, some are watching to see if there's any more worthy news about the ending, and others are here wondering why we are all still here on this blog.

Does anyone recall the little story in TToTC in which Forrest was describing an interview with a reporter from NPR? If I remember correctly, the interviewer pulled the proverbial plug when our hero recounted a short list of his favorite things in life- a good scratch, a good sneeze, and a bit of self pity. Don’t have my book at hand but that was the gist of it if my memory serves. Does anyone know if that interview was ever documented? If this was a Forrest Fenn elaboration, it may be a nice hint. Just thinking aloud.
Really just want to post something to see my new avatar!

"Father on the Bonco" did not add up for me for the longest time, only when I realized that wwwh sat next to a bench did it make sense. Not a park bench
Maybe if you ask, you could get a new avatar too.

A lab bench? The bench baseball players warm? Where the judge rests their buns? Just messing with ya, Knowlege.

                        Cool avatar.
Another bench could be a pew, which could follow along with the quote: "my church is in the mountains along the river bottoms ....".

                          I like that notion.

                                Should the solve be revealed?

Only if it's proprietary to and trademarked by Forrest and with the families approval of course. To date there has not been one solve that can be clearly attributed to Forrest in any way, shape or form. However and to paraphrase: you will not know your correct until you have the chest in your hands. I think it would create a stir if the solve that may have been given to Forrest, that was out of order, was revealed. That would create as much curiosity as an Eric Sloane toilet balancing act. All in my opinion of course.
