  • Under a Canopy of Stars

I was messing around and noticed this. Two peaks named the North and South Star, just south of Murphy Creek. As soon as I saw Murphy I thought of the popular TV show from the 80s and 90s Murphy Brown. I looked at the cast of the show for giggles and the co-star was Ms. Faith Ford. IDK if that tv show would be considered specialized knowledge...maybe to non-Americans under the age of 30? The Little girl from India definitely wouldn't have made that connection.
I reverse engineered it and probably would put WWWH at Alpine Junction. Murphy Creek runs along the base of the Stars. http://imgur.com/gallery/Vn2Y9N2

I'd say you're right. It was still interesting to look at for a bit. Some of the episode names made me laugh.

When I hear Murphy my mind wanders back to the Lincoln County War and a few old good friends. The Murphy name has always been associated with the Santa Fe Ring. I never really trusted them quiet guys from back East much.
If I could get my feet on the floor out there I would be a lot more content, maybe that's wwwh?
