        RIP...

I hated that I solved your last riddle. Maybe it was your goodbye to those who understood how you thought.

            the world
            has become
            poorer
            after you're gone
            the colors
            bleaker
            the sounds
            muffled
            but the life
            still
            goes on

Rest in Peace Mr. Forrest Fenn. The great banquet table of history has rung its bell, as you well know.

                Just BROKEN .
Mr. Fenn , May God take you in with open arms so you may join the rest of your family at the big banquet table in Heaven .
Prayers for Mrs. Peggy Proctor Fenn . I hope someone is looking out for her and that she is ok .
My heart goes out to his family at this most needed time . If I can do anything for you guys , just ring a bell and I will be there .

My tears keep falling and lifting ,
Soul still Chasing the dream for ,
Making puddles on the ground , the sand still sifting
St. Peter in Heaven , to negate my wrath , unlock the BIG door
                -Ode to Mr. Fenn ...

He couldn't have been more right when he said 2020 would be full of surprises.

                    I am stunned.

What a great man. A life well lived and I appreciate him sharing it with us in a small way. RIP Forrest.

This is very sad. I communicated with him several times in email and he was always a sweetheart. Rest in Peace, dear Forrest.

On another note, wasn't there supposed to be a party to mark the close of the Fenn Treasure Search over Labor Day weekend, hostedy by Cynthia Meachum in West Yellowstone? Did that happen?

                              W H Auden “Funeral Blues”

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
                              Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message ‘He is Dead’.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
                              My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
                              Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
