KEYWORD IN POEM -- One Word to Rule them ALL

    MAROON: the UNIFING PRINCIPLE

Click image for larger version Name:	maroon.PNG Views:	6 Size:	40.7 KB ID:	147888

As I have gone ALONE in there -- MAROONED
    Put In -- MAROON
    Worth the Cold -- MAROONED
    Treasures -- MAROONED
    New & Old -- MAROONED

Many have noted alterations of words (wordplay, aberrations, and 'doubles' -- double omegas, double letters, etc.
(ie. Dizzy, Forrest, Fenn, Buffallo Bill, Butterfly/Flutterby ... the list goes on and on)

Well, switch the medial double o's out for double r's, and you get ...

    Marron
Click image for larger version Name:	marron def.PNG Views:	6 Size:	43.0 KB ID:	147887

    Marron -- Home of Brown
Marron -- Up ___ Creek without Paddle
    Marron -- Heavy Loads
Marron -- just get the hell out of there

now I''m by no means the first to note the scatological references in Fenn's poem -- https://www.hintofriches.com/forum/t...terculian-myth

I once heard a plumber certain Fenn's treasure was in a sewer. With this idea in mind, one searcher even went so far as to rip off sewer grates.

Next, let's look at Maroon the VERB (reverse nounification)

Click image for larger version Name:	maroon verb.PNG Views:	6 Size:	42.6 KB ID:	147890

MAROON means "wild, untamed, unruly" -- aka. MAVERICK

MAROON means THICKET -- aka. IN THE WOOD

A Maroon is defined as a "Fool" -- aka. JOKER

Maroon word ROOTS come from the West Indes --
West Indes Company tied to the DISCOVERY of AMERICA --
    aka. TREASURES OLD AND NEW

MAROON has even deeper roots in the color of the CHESTnut ...

take the CHESTand go in peace ...

Please tell me if you can find a better SKELETON KEY for this poem than the word:

    MAROON

    Truly, I'm open to suggestions.

    applying the above ...

no wonder many have searched a little spot in the Rocky Mountains called Cimarron (which just so happens to exist right up the street from Mr. Fenn's home)

    #MyChurchIsInTheMountains
    #CollectingARROWHEADS

I'm pretty sure this word means EVERYTHING THAT EVER WAS.

PS: There's also a famed "Maverick Trail" in the above mentioned area.

        Think about this:

"...few people are in tight focus with a word that is key..."

What are those few people doing?

        Peace,

        O.

                  A handy tip

Spacing really isnt part of the poem its just a void

Macarons are the best! I don’t know if Maroon is important to the chase but Maroon 5 might be, that guy is BOLD showing his nips in public like that! He would probably say it was worth the cold

hahaha, the nip edit is killing me!!

Sure, let’s scrap All of history. Forget all of it. Surely ignorance of the past is the path to future enlightenment.

Look Ms, Jones, I get that you’re obviously trying for comedy relief, but I think you forgot the comedy. Do you have any thoughts on the Chase that are original, or did you just come to loudly eat crackers?
