Also keep in mind.. that it has yet to be found. so even if this were the location and someone were within feet of it? first they have to return second they have to find it.. it hasnt been found yet as far as we know.. you bring the milk, I'll bring the buffalo burgers.. see you there.

what does that have to do with anything? he has said its someplace he could get to anytime of the year.. that doesn't mean he went back. it means its accessible to him year round. the location is somewhere he can get to all year long. highway 212 is the only place that Ive been able to find that has severe weather conditions in the winter time and enough of the other place names that fit with the clues that is also acessable year round. 212 between Gardiner / mammoth all the way to Cooke city.

*If you know precisely where it is you can probably retrieve it in any weather" thats one quote, there are other's that i don't have time to hunt down right now..

"Any weather" doesn't necessarily mean the location is subject to 'severe weather'.

If the TC is hidden in an area that is not subject to severe weather in the winter time, you could also probably retrieve it in any weather that the location is subject to. If you know precisely where it is.
There are plenty of places in the RMs that are accessible year-round.
ahh.. but its doesn't mean its not... just that he can access it in any weather ya? as far year round I agree.. if it were in New Mexico. I will admit to solve Bias here because I think I know the general area and the fact that my general area is the only area accessible to the general public using an automobile year round. For me the comment is a clue.. so pinch's of salt are needed to make it explicable, small pinches though.

ya my spot was about half a mile up the hill from the ranch... BUT Yellowstone Forever takes people out on field trips to the Wolf Pen up the hill from the ranch in the winter, my spots a hop skip and a jump (ish) from there people also cross country ski there and snowshoe in that area in the winter. every year I go out there though we find new elk carcasses from that winters wolf hunts, Wolves gorge on elk in the winter and there's a ton of antler drops as well as carcasses, the Elk frequent that area in the winter and the wolves get them on the tree line and run them into the woods... sucks to be an Elk in the wood with those giant racks, that and there hoves break through the snow the Wolves have the advantage.... piles elk skeletons. just a Cliff Claven fact there that has nothing to do with the chase.

Please share the quote where he said it’s a place he could get to any time of year.
                            .
Regarding the ‘any weather’ quote, the question is, what definition of ‘retrieve’ did Forrest use for its meaning.

This was one of my very first locations I looked at in Yellowstone. I abandoned it after discovering something...but LOL...I can't remember what it was. I'll have to go back and look at my notes.

Just stopped in her between appointments... I'm limited on time Capn. It seems to have struck a cord with you Kpro or any other number of people should be able to find it and or tarryscant.com If i find time and locate the quotes I will post them.

In addition to the quote in my post it was something along the lines of being available to him 365 days a year.. ish. so thats what i would be looking for, I know that at the time it was a con-firmer for me as everything else at that location lines up and my location is one of the few places in the park that CAN be be accessed year round because they plow that road.. Only reason the quote even sticks in my head. I just don't remember the exact quote..... find it and post it thanks.
