ID:	136218 I'm sure that if you are like me, when you are on your travels you come across curious things which you bring home. I have a small collection now. I think it would be great if you have something interesting you might post a picture of it here, with a short explanation if you care. Here's one of my favorites..... Curious don't you think?

At first glance, I thought it might be a bear's skull. I hadn't considered a Rino. I think the property I found it on was owned by a Republican though....

The skull looks like a heritage breed pig, like a Kunekune ....
Granite. ...if they were tools they would show more working and wear.

              From my last BOTG....blissful
My prized find was the green jasper turtleback scrapper... my son found that 10,000 year old point (broken)
found the grinding set up exactly how it was under a rock , I put it back after the picture.
              Lots of petrified wood, etc

No paper, but it did have a dry fly, but I misplaced it.

AND....I pick up cool looking rocks.. look at the facets on this Quartz

( Center) Copper ore and (bottom) Silver In Quartz?

I think the round rock(2") may be an Apache tear. The rock in the back is heavily mineralized, very heavy and may be Galena with some iron.
Maybe I have rocks for brains.....

We did NOT find this in or near Royal Gorge, which is why it was a neat find! We also found an intact spine of an animal, very dried out and grey from being in the sun - I can't find a picture of it, but it lives in my son's room on one of his shelves now, along with a skull he found on one of our trips.

My kids fished while I hunted treasure. They brought home their catch. The youngest inherited a bit too much of his character from his maternal side. I 'm hoping he outgrows it.

Miles up in the air he flew, He just murmured, Toodle-oo!
