  • Old Santa Fe Trading Co

Has anyone noticed that the header on Forrest's homepage https://www.oldsantafetradingco.com/ is shrinking.
Loved that old leather belt with the skull. It's still there but so very small.
It had to have changed just recently.
    Any thoughts on this?

On the fly, I'd blame the shrinkage on COLD weather months, and perhaps just aging ... a wrinkle in time ... or is that a stitch? :-/

Also, I once met a searcher who had a solve incorporating Fenn's ... belt buckle ... I don't think the guy meant to be creepy, but maybe Fenn just wanted to steal attention away from Tropic Thunder just to be safe.

My solve has to do with Fenns belt buckle and the images on the old santa fe trading co. I believe you can tie so much into the location. It's amazing how Forrest designed the whole thing to all relate.

I think it was about 2 months ago the webpage design was changing.

The belt buckle has been associated with the blaze, IMO.

Has anyone seen my shrunken head err? It was on top of the chest but must have rolled off! I wish someone would crack this thing, me and my pea brain.

Well, it looks like it's grown back up, or out.

I think he cinched it up a notch or two....
That's one thing about belts, you can take em in and you can let them out.
                        Kinda like breathing.

BTW, if you want to look at historic versions of the page, there's the wayback-machine that have cached some pages from many years ago.

https://web.archive.org/web/20101107...tore/store.htm shows the link to the first versions of the poem that was published on the webpage, unfortunally it's just a link and not the actual page. The page itself haven't been cached.

The first page I could find that have been cached with the poem is the page https://web.archive.org/web/20111008...-resource-page from October 2011.

Does anyone think the name template shrinking is a sign the chase is almost over? Like sand through the hourglass?

Anyone ever wonder why Forrest named his site Old Santa Fe Trading Co and not Trading Post?
Would have seemed more appropriate - more like him.
Just look at everything he has posted and shared there.
