  • I do now believe that putting in a boat or raft is logical

I won't say which water, but I am right now leaving the best possible place with the most solve points I've had to date. Walked near water for about 3-1/2 miles before encountering boulders in the way. This is not only based on the "put in" part, but based on the books. Maybe you know what I mean by books. There are some important ones.

I guess it depends on the quality of the water you are thinking about floating and your strategy on back-tracking to your car. Is it a river to where it may be difficult to paddle back up it? A lake or reservoir in which it may be deep? If the treasure is there at your destination, would you risk losing it in the water? Is your safety at risk?

I had this very thought for my solve for about half a day until I came to my senses. Definitely not proud of that thought.... Some further investigation in ways around your 'roadblocks' may be worth your time before you decide to get into water.

    Be safe,
    MC

3-4 mph after Spring thaw. I want to check it with a raft before selling clues, but need the money. I will sell anyone the blaze bridge.
