  • What did Forrest Fenn mean, that his treasure chest hasn't been found?

Does the word found, as used by Forrest regarding the finding of his treasure chest mean something different to him, like the treasure chest's lid needs to be opened and some type of evidence or knowledge has to then be given to him before he will say that it's been found? I mean if someone sent him a picture of them sitting on top of his treasure chest but didn't open it and had no intention or was unable to retrieve it, would he still say that his treasure chest hasn't been found, if asked by somebody else? Or when Forrest Fenn said that his treasure chest hasn't been found, did he simply mean NOT by chance?

    found
past and past participle of find.
    adjective
having been discovered by chance or unexpectedly.

I'm going to start my crowdfunding on Thursday 7/18/19 so I can make my last and final trip to the Rockies. I canceled my Comcast internet, so I hope I won't have any problems with my campaign. https://www.indiegogo.com/project/preview/2766795a#/
Any questions about my campaign or perks wanted, please let me know. I've never ever scammed anyone in my entire life and no one has ever accused me of being a scammer except for roll tide and treasurecodex here on this forum.
When I retrieve Forrest Fenn's treasure chest, I will have the means, if I decide to, to hire an attorney and investigator to expose my false accusers.

You know the old saying : Walks like a scammer, talks like a scammer, well let's ask if he has the evidence he claims to have, oh no picture of chest as you claimed to have, we all know the answer to the question at hand.

You still have not shown the pictures you claim to have of the chest.

That is about as big of a red flag as China has.

Fred, if you want people to believe you and support you, you'll have to post a believable picture of the chest. I think it's only fair and reasonable. Don't be selfish, share! If you're afraid of giving away the location via picture file GPS metadata, you could take a screen grab of it and post that instead.

Plus also, on the subject of garnering support from the masses - To improve your website clickthrough conversion rate, I think you should change the audio clip on your web site. It's possibly the most annoying sound in the world. The train going past the bananas over and over is quite amusing though, the irony is not lost on me.

Anyway good luck in your repeat search! Remember your glasses this time!! Take a spare pair too. Or you could video what's right in front of you as you go along, and watch on your screen so you don't miss it again. Also remember there's free WiFi everywhere so please post progress updates.

      All the best.
      Mike

I found a geo cache with bottle tops, shoe strings, baby Ruth candy wrappers, sun tan lotion, buttons, wal mart smile stickers, pens, a poem about an old woman who collects things,(would like to read, if anyone knows it), and some other trash, it had geo cache papers, it stunk and I left it on the rock near the entrance. I was quite upset because it said valor on the tin and was olive green. I didn't want to play games, winning and losing is for children. Money is for the lost and the weak, I'm searching for a free ride. If something isn't free, it's worthless. I'm playing marbles, anything other than that, no. Luck is for casinos, and museums are free.

I have done the same analysis of photos and have found the chest 5 times in those photos.... Guess what? The chest has not been found!

I understand that searchers may not believe me, without me showing them a picture. But I've made my decision not to jeopardize my future for almost nothing. If I can't raise the $500.00 I'll just use my credit card again. I spent about $2,000.00 on my two previous trips to the Rockies. I put in close to $1,000.00 into my old 1995 Plymouth Voyager, which broke down in Moses Lake, Washington on my way back to Raymond in July of 2017. I think that no searcher would post their true and correct solve or any photos of the chest before they were to retrieve it, if they really thought that they had actually found it. I have three different videos, from different angles, that shows a black square object, that's the same length on each side and half it's length in depth. I used Photoshop to place and resize an official photo of the chest and I also used a photo of a 10 x 10 by 5 inch box and they both matched my black square box, as far as can be estimated, because of the different angles. I'm just trying to get a little financial help and to maybe give some searchers the thrill, of knowing that they helped me to get Forrest Fenn's treasure chest out of the Rockies. Thanks for your advise and support, I'm going to remove the audio I got an old pair of glasses from my mother recently and they work just fine. Thanks Mike.

I have three different HD videos of the treasure chest or at least a black square box that's estimated to be about 10 x 10 x 5 inches, videoed at different angles. I took those three videos and made them into 3D side by side, half size, with a free software program and then I viewed them in my Oculus Go and I can see the shape and depth of the object and it looks just like the shape of the treasure chest to me but it looks black where it's hidden.

It's been over two years for me now, so I ask everyone to just wait two more weeks or less, for me to prove what I've been posting has been true or not true.

                    Hey, look who's back !
Just couldn't stay away, could you ? Apparently, you must have missed me, otherwise why would you mention me in your post ?
And why have you reverted back to telling lies about me again ?
I thought we had that cleared up ?
I never called you a scammer, I simply said that you don't have pics of F's treasure chest in its hiding spot.
                    I still stand by that.

Scammer ? Nahhh, real scammers would laugh you off the street if you showed up on their block trying to peddle this line.
And, a real scammer would have had that $500 already.

Sounds to me like you are now asking us what is the best excuse for you to use, now that you have successfully painted yourself into a corner. I see you're even considering the classic "I know where it is but I have no intentions of going to get it". Brilliant !

You're a funny guy. What, exactly, would you ask your attorney to "expose" ?
"Mr. Attorney Man, there are people who are disagreeing with me on the internet. Here's $$$ , I want you to expose them."

I think Fenn pretty much means by it hasn't been found yet that it hasn't been found yet.

Lawyer reply : For you son, it will only cost a hundred grand to send them a scathing letter.

If you're willing to finance BOTG with a credit card, I'd be worried what you'd do with a box full of gold.

Think about how the redneck from Texas that is unemployed and has 12 kids would finance his trip. And how confident he would have to be before he went out searching. It would not be 200 BOTG trips for sure.
