  • What's growing in Your garden?

    Such treasures - new and old.
    Flowers, trees, birds, and bees.
    Oh and don't forget the weeds.

    Onions and bunions,
    Awash with squash,
    Fiddlehead fern and now your turn.

          Ducks and bucks and puppies too,
          such a wonderous thing, such a glorious view;
          I wonder if there could be anything more
          than what I see, outside my door.

                It's beginning to rain, we'll all get wet,
                oh wait - don't go - oh no not yet;
                Put on your boots, let's play in the mud,
                we'll make some pies and weather the flood.

                    Could there be some "subtle hints" in these verses?
                    Hey - if we get enough of em, might have to publish a book titled "A Fenn's Garden of Verses."

                      The snow cover glistens and starts to melt
                      I look down at the hand that I've been dealt
                      My sisters, my brothers, all gather round
                      As the seedlings hatch, tiny boots on the ground

                            the rain has subsided from near a month or more,
                            i tore to the garden from out my front door,
                            with seeds in my hand and tools galore,
                            i plant my own eden then rest by the shore.
